Jaddou’s confirmed leadership follows years of acting officials under the Trump administration. Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas stated, “She will administer our Nation’s immigration system fairly and justly.” In what will be music to the EB-5 community’s ears, Jaddou has declared that efficient processing is one of her priorities: “USCIS must process applications fairly, efficiently, and in a humane manner; be accessible, transparent, and accountable.”
