Crawford Advanced Materials and Homeland Fuels Company is developing a new, $220 million manufacturing plant in Meadville, Pennsylvania (Crawford County). The plant will convert biomass into green products and renewable fuels using proprietary pyrolysis technology, a proven process that is already deployed in several plants across the United States. The plant will process 450 tons of biomass per day, yielding 7.4 million gallons of renewable diesel fuel, 1.58 million kg of green hydrogen, and 13,000 tons of biochar/graphene per year.
